Taco is a rescue from Homes for Paws Dog Rescue in Ottawa and I was surprised to learn that he is thought to be about 10 years old!

He was initially rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas by Hand me Down Hounds and came to Ottawa in 2018 thanks to Homes for Paws Dog Rescue.

Taco arrived in Ottawa in poor shape, with both kennel cough and heart worm. Lucky for him, he had an amazing foster mom who took care of him, loved him and nursed him back to health.
