Shiro was 3 months when he found his furever home here in Ottawa.
He was owned by a couple of drunk brothers who got themselves locked up in jail. At the time, he was named Toby. He was chained up outdoors, fed polar bear meat and would roam the small community alone.
When a friend of Shiro’s mom posted a picture of him, asking if anybody was interested in rescuing him, it was love at first sight.
