I was so happy when Currie’s mom contacted me for a photo session, because I had known Currie for a while and I knew she now had a little sister, Sammie! I couldn’t wait to meet her.
If you followed my photography project last year, called How I Met my Best Friend, you might have heard of what an amazing dog Currie is, and what great pawrents she has.
Sammie is actually Currie’s half-sister, so they look very much alike and I had to ask myself several times which one was which! Sammie, below, decided to wear a pumpkin colored bow tie from Guy & Compagnie and I think she’s VERY happy about it!
We took many photos that day but the one below ended up being my favorite, and their mom’s favorite too. It will be turned into an acrylic print, ready to be hung on their wall! I think it will look absolutely gorgeous.
I enjoy taking photos of every kind of pet of course, but since Momo the Golden joined our family, I’ve been enjoying capturing their goofiness much more!
It was funny to see Sammie playing around and making surprise attacks on her big sister, while Currie knew exactly how to pose and was looking all majestic for the camera.
Currie & Sammie’s 10% of the session fee was donated to Sit with Me in Ottawa. Thank you for helping us rescue animals in need!
