Everything is closed but we still have to feed our pets.

Now, you must be asking yourself : What pet store is open? Is it OPEN open or do they only do curbside pickup? Do they deliver? Do I have to call in advance? Is emailing better?

If you already have a go-to spot, great! If you are still completely lost, here is a one stop spot (say that 10 times really fast) with some great local pet stores in alphabetical order that are here to help you through the nightmare of it all.

1. CHEW-THAT

   • Is the store open for walk-ins?

     No.

   • Is delivery available?

     Yes.

   • What’s the delivery charge?

     Delivery is free if the order is above $25.00.

   • Are there any delivery times?

     Yes – Delivery in Riverside South and surrounding areas are on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoon. Delivery in Almonte and surrounding areas are Monday to Friday.

   • Is curbside pickup available?

     Yes.

   • What are the store hours for curbside pick up?

     Riverside Location : Monday to Friday, 9:30AM to 6PM and Saturday 10AM to 4PM.

     Almonte Location : Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 10AM to 5PM; Tuesday & Thursday, 10AM to 2PM; Closed on weekends.

   • How do I place an order?

   • How do I pay?

     You can pay at the door by card ONLY (no cash) or over the phone.  

2. CRICKET AND COMPANY

  No.

• Is delivery available?

  No.

• Is curbside pickup available?

  Yes.

• What are the store hours for curbside pick up?

  Tuesday to Saturday, 11AM to 5PM, Sunday and Monday, Closed.

• How do I place an order?

  You can shop online on their website and if you don’t see what you’re looking for, you can also call them at 613-562-1919 or email info@cricketandcompany. They even take your orders through Facebook and Instagram!

  You can pay at the door by card ONLY (no cash) or through their online store.

3. CRITTER JUNGLE

• Is the store open for walk-ins?

  No.

• Is delivery available?

  Yes.

• What’s the delivery charge?

  Delivery is $5.00 with a minimum of $50.00 order.

• Is curbside pickup available?

  Yes.

• What are the store hours for curbside pick up?

  The hours are Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM’; Saturday from 9AM to 6PM and Sunday from 10AM to 5PM.

• How do I place an order?

  You can call the location nearest you :

  613-729-7354 for Carling or 613-824-7354 for Orleans.

• How do I pay?

  You can pay over the phone.  

4. K9 KANTEEN

• Is the store open for walk-ins?

  No.

• Is delivery available?

  Yes.

• What’s the delivery charge?

  Delivery is free in Ottawa for orders over $60.00. You can check what their delivery area is by going to their website. Delivery is available twice a week.

• Is curbside pickup available?

  Yes.

• What are the store hours for curbside pick up?

  They are open 7 days a week, from 8AM to 1PM and 4PM to 5:30PM. They are closed from 1PM to 4PM.

5. MASTERS N DOGS

  No.

• Is delivery available?

  Yes.

  Delivery is free for orders over $85.00 and $5.00 for deliveries within 10km of the store.

  Yes.

• What are the store hours for curbside pick up?

  They are open 7 days a week, from 10AM to 5PM.

  They are open on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10AM to 3PM.

  You can pay through their online store or by e-transfer for custom orders.

7. TLC GROOMING

• Is the store open for walk-ins?

  No.

• Is delivery available?

  Yes.

  Delivery is free with orders over $30.00

• Is curbside pickup available?

  No.

  You can place your order by looking at what products are available and by calling 613-745-5808.

  You can pay over the phone when you place your order.

Edit: I have received a lot of comments saying I missed some places. Yes, I am aware but I couldn’t possibly include all of the stores in the city, it would have been way too overwhelming, sorry guys! I also wanted to include local, smaller pet stores and not bigger chains.
