Back in spring, I held a HUGE contest featuring some of my favorite local businesses such as Wolfpakstitchin and Inspired by Pippa. The biggest winning prize was a free photo session with myself and a 16×24 acrylic float mount to showcase the winning pet.
So who ended up winning the first prize?
The cutest potato I had ever seen: Timber, a Swedish Valhund.
I had never heard of this breed before and at first, I thought he was some kind of a corgi mixed with a potato (sorry Timber). Little did I know that His majesty the Potato was a purebred dog originally named Alkemi Dogwood LT, from Buffalo, NY.
Timber, aka Timbee, Timbit, Timbino Bambino, Handsome Joe and Chomp Demon, is an energetic and outgoing dude who never met a person or animal he didn’t want to be best friends with. I got to experience it first hand when he was chomping on my ear while I was lying on the ground with my camera.
Timber loves walks in the woods so he can chomp on pinecones. His favorite food is boiled chicken & mangoes, and he loves belly rubs and couch snugs, playing tug and fetch, and stealing the cat’s toys. His greatest goal in life is for the cat to love him, though it does seem to be a futile effort. He is down for any adventure or new activity and on top of that list is canoe rides with his dad.
If this is not the greatest sounding Tinder profile, I don’t know what is. The cat is definitely missing out.
