Meet Dolly & Roe, two beautiful potcakes from the Eastern Ontario Potcake Rescue.
Dolly is from Antigua and Roe is her 9 months old not-so-little fur sister who came from Jamaica.
Dolly, the darker dog, is a little goofball who absolutely loves her mom and follows her everywhere she goes. Although she’s still very anxious, she’s worked very hard with her pawrent and has come a long way already! It was love at first sight when her mom saw her listed on the rescue’s website and the rest is history.
Roe, her fur sister, is from the same Ottawa rescue as well. When her pawrents were thinking of adopting another dog, the rescue suggested Roe, thinking she would be a perfect fit, and she was! Dolly & Roe have a strong bond and they became best furriends.
It was very funny to see during the session how Dolly was acting like the big sister and Roe like that one friend you cannot leave alone.
Dolly would sometimes look at her and I could tell she was just thinking “I love you but please, don’t embarrass me this time around”.
We all had a lot of fun at the session and I’m so glad to have met such great people and pups! They are what makes this profession so rewarding and fun and I’m always so grateful for that.
